ROAD TRIP INFO road trip is now only 11 days away, so best get an itinery out. guna bbuy some walky talkies this week, keep communication up. Plymouth is toooo far away so changed 2nd day location to southampton. FILL CARS WITH FOOD, DRINK, JD AND FIREWORKS. YEAHHHP DAY ONE: 27th Dec, Bristol Meet at hartham at 5 AM, load up cars (maybe organise sleep over with hu ever is taking make it easier) get on road by 5.30 and head down m4/m5 to bristol Bristol has 7 major skate parks so we will be hitting up one park every hour or two, they're all pretty tight. street to be thrown in.PARTY AS FUCK AT NIGHT. CAMP FIRE. Day Two: 28th Dec, southampton Going to major park where king of concrete is held, about a million linked bowls big and small, old skool park, might be shut down soon so best get there quick , fair few extra good outdoor ones, pretty flowy by looks of it and street down in southampton is fucking ace so is to be thrown in whenever anyone spots shit out car window. Day three: 29th dec, Brighton, Party day pretty much a chill day off, maybe apck in bit fo street but fucking around in brigthon is awesoem, so we will just go ape shit and tour around i reckon. day when moye gets to shine .ha Day four 30th dec, London (south)/ Redhill Redhill has an awesome skate park, wood, loads of shit to boost. After that will be heading back toward home, will hit up london and the bicycle union spot in totenham hale this day, thsi place is a hidden spot built privately, probably seen it in dig/ride, treat it with respect, tis one of a kind. probably only chance you'll ever get to ride it, cus security on it is pretty much invite only, so make most of it. then home. shit hot in time for new year party. let's get crazy.x (check out www.sk8m8.co.uk for park info.)

Been a while. Hartham skatepark is finally finished, though its not officially open. Turn up after the builders go and you can ride though - just watch for police. Its pretty rad I have been told. Ascension should blatantly do something like this:

OK. I have not updated in a while, so heres me. As was mentioned in the book, they have started coating the skatepark down Hartham and if anyone rides it it will leave marks in the concrete and feck up the WHOLE operation.

Some rad banks outside the front entrance of Sheffield University where I went last week. Marble, smooth as your mums arse, and perfect rails and a sloped barrier about a meter thick, also made of smooth marble, no little metal bolts to stop people, a fair run up. It would be a crime if they where never riden.

It also looked much better in real life, looks a little small in the photo.

OK, like Mark said, they have started laying the concrete on the Park and all looks good. It should, apparantly, be finished by christmas so everyone who, like me, does not have a BMX (or Park Friendly Mountain Bike) should ask for one for the christmas present this year. Yeahhhhhh. I shall maybe get some photos up soon, I took some today but they are still on my phone. I can't be bothered right now...

Oh my fecking golly gosh. I went down Hartham today and saw the new skatpark underway. I didn't even know they had started it, but it already looks good and apparantly will be finished in about 3 weeks. Rad. I am saving up my money from work and should get £160 at the end of the week and I already have a bit so I should be able to buy myself a shitty BMX to use. Wicked bo! I shall maybe get some photos of the park for you to see (aside the plans Mark posted below)

Well, I have sort of got into the swing of updating again and so here is another fairly pointless update to keep you lot entertained. Half term is the 22nd. I think we should have a Jam some day as I need loads of photos to put up on the site and thats really the only way I can get them. So, a Jam? Comments in the book.

Well, I have been away on a sort of 2 days Holiday to look at Manchester University. Its pretty good but I am back now. The Zine will probably be up by October 30th. I know thats missions away but half term is 22nd October and I am hoping to get most of my media for the Zine then as I have no other time to get it. If people organised a Jam them maybe I could get a day off work and come a10, but with this weather its not really prime time. People still need to address the issue of where we are going for our road trip. North or South. I say South, near cornwall. Cheap hostels and loads of parks, should be rad. Heres another photo to make this update a bit more than loads of boring shit text...

P.S. Mark, do you have to come round my house to edit the video? Can't we do it online? Much easier. And I am too busy to edit them much anyway, probably better Jamie does them and I don't have any professional editing stuff anyway, just some free iMovie software...

ROAD TRIPPIN UPDATE Willy J and Ben are hellbent on comig on the highway to hell with us, so thats more fuel to our fire, more spunk to our trunk. Pat needs to book it off work, everyone persuade him he's an idiot if he doesn't. I'm hell pumped on this, it's on! still need votes of where to head to though, so far we are heading north, but i think we would be better heading toward wales! for some sheep assualtage. who knows whatever happens the day plan consists of wake up, drive until we spot street and then don't stop till you get enough, (or shut the spot down) and then aim to get to a skate aprk by mid day or somethign, depending on hangovers. and then ride some new transitions, then when thats all done, we drink, party and sausage roll it until the morning come. Peace out.

OK. I have not updated in ages so its about due time. I have not updated because I have been busy but I shall try to find some time every now and then to update little things. I have interviewed Mark for my Zine and that should be out within the next few weeks. Yes, its taking ages but its just me making a whole Zine by myself whilst I go to school 5 days a week and work for small cash for the remaining 2 days. So, on that note, does anyone want to contribute to the Zine? As I said in the book:
"Does anybody want to contribute to the Zine thats coming out? Send in some photos? I mostly need street photos as I am going to be doing a "Street vs. Trails" section and have loads of rad pictures from both, but I have basically no street photos and I don’t have time really to get any. Jamie? You got any?".

Borehamwood is now officially my favourite skate park. until we go to Crawley at least. and here is a long overdue update: Photos of the random skate park i came across in Gran Caneria. Goes to show how stingy English councils are at funding leisure activity.

Being that Marks attempt of a DVD cover was a near exact match of Derelicts and his claim that photoshop was shit for making DVD covers, I made these last night and the night before.

Its just a standard layout with changeable pictures so the photos can be changed. Can you all choose your favourite photo or, if you like, send me any more photos you think may look good.

The riding jam was insane today. I didn't really get any photos but I got loads of video footage of the various rad shit that was going on. No one did any flips which was a bit disapointing, but at least 40 people turned up at various times. I shall edit the footage and hopefully have it up some time soon...

LATEST NEWS ON SKATE PARK CONSULTATION AND PARK DESIGN:
Following yesterdays "metting" i have recieved this email following investigatioon into those shoddy looking leaflets:

I've just had a call from Freestyle and they will be there next week. The Council have promoted this in the wrong way, as it is supposed to be 'user group' meeting for our design group and not a free-for-all public meeting. So if possible, could we please have the hardcore locals only turn up willing to put some effort in to help with the design. Saying that, I guess it's no bother if there's a good attendance of others, it shows good interest for the project.

He also said, they could be on site in as soon as 3 - 4 weeks (if everything goes smoothely)!

So, the design has gotta be right then!

I'm forwarding a small pic of Fitzroy park as he was interested in it being a possiblity, I hope that's okay?
